Wound Care at Home with Comprehensive's Visiting Nurse

At Comprehensive Home Health, all wound care services are overseen by a certified wound nurse. Our clinical team treats chronic and acute wounds using a variety of healing methods such as:

  • Assessment and instruction for prevention of infection Assessment of etiologic factors and recommendations for wound treatment and prevention of breakdown (to include assessment for support surfaces) .
  • Assessment of systemic and environmental factors effecting wound healing and recommendations for interventions as indicated Management of wound by application of appropriate treatment modalities such as evidence based topical dressings, compression therapy, Negative Pressure Wound therapy Assessment of nutritional needs effecting wound healing and appropriate interventions to obtain optimal nutritional status
